One way to keep refugees out of USA

U.S.-led coalition airstrikes in Iraq and Syria may have already killed 1,484 civilians in just Iraq and Syria this month alone, more than three times the number killed in President Barack Obama’s final full month in office, according to British monitoring group Airwars. For the first time, the number of alleged civilian casualties in events carried out by the U.S.-led coalition has exceeded the death toll of attacks launched by Russia.

Evidence gathered on the ground in East Mosul points to an alarming pattern of U.S.-led coalition airstrikes which have destroyed whole houses with entire families inside,” said Donatella Rovera, Senior Crisis Response Adviser at Amnesty International, who carried out field investigations in Mosul.

“The high civilian toll suggests that coalition forces leading the offensive in Mosul have failed to take adequate precautions to prevent civilian deaths, in flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.”

and yet many “civilians” were killed in the carpet bombing of German cities. There are 2 reasons civilians have died. The current first reason is that the opposition aka ISIS (terrorists) tend to hide in civilian populations and fight from there and the second is an ancient military aphorism: the army in the field will be a force to reckon with only as long as the civilian population behind it supports and supplies it.

Why are they running from it if they support it. Picture this happening in USA. Where can you go if two countries are bombing yours ? I know it is part of war. I have never experienced it but feel for the people that are just trying to survive. No different than Viet Nam. Hard to tell who the enemy is. My ex served 3 tours in Nam. I remember it well. War is HELL. Didn’t I just read Tillerson said Syria is basically on it’s own ? http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2017/04/02/mccain_outraged_by_tillerson_statement_that_syrian_people_will_determine_their_own_future.html

Why are they running? Do they have weapons? Even soldiers don’t stand there and let bombs fall on their heads!

I am referencing bombing in Syria and why innocent civilians are being killed. Woman and children in their homes are being bombed. Couldn’t we be more accurate with targets ? Just walk a mile in their shoes. You are not justifying killing them are you ? I would hope not. I repeat, WAR is HELL. Didn’t Roosevelt say “no” to Jewish refugees. How did that work out !!

It is sad and always has been. Just a lot of civilian casualties. Remember watching the movies and seeing the warriors all on the battle field with very few innocents. Brave Heart, honor in war.
